Safety is of the utmost importance to the entire K&S Air Conditioning team staring with upper management and extending throughout the entire company.  K&S’ safety program is designed to aid employees and management in adhering to safe standards in the workplace.  The entire management team meets monthly with the one objective of preventing all accidents and injuries to our employees.

The K&S Safety Committee meets monthly to discuss various safety strategies and techniques to help further reduce the risk of job site mishaps.

K&S prides itself on training our employees regarding all aspects of safety.  This starts with all our field foremen being trained in first aid and CPR, ladder, forklift and scissor-lift usage, power actuated tool operation, and crane signaling.  In addition, we stress safety in our weekly jobsite tailgate meetings with the goal of active involvement by all our employees.

K&S requires our employees to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required on their jobs including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and safety vests.

K&S requires all new hires to be drug tested and we require post-accident drug testing for all employees.

K&S Air Conditioning, Inc. has been given the prestigious Associated Builders and Contractors Safety, Training, and Evaluation Process (STEP) Award for fourteen consecutive years.
